    Another important question: did you apply your formatting after the text was typed into the reply box, or was the formatting applied by a word processing program before you C&P'd your RP into the reply box?

    I did copy out of the dialog box, and into Word to spell check before copying back into dialog box. Maybe that's what caused it.


    Who Knows, I typed this by changing format before typing.


    This is regular format, changed to something else.

    Microsoft Word, like most high-end word processors, adds a bunch of meta data to your text that gets copied along with the text itself. You can avoid this in the future by using the "Paste As Text" button in the WYSIWYG menu or by pasting into Notepad and re-copying before pasting into the comment box.

    Is there a feature add on to tell us when someone has posted a topic response before I post another?  Hardly essential but I often type out half a post, go do something else and finish it later/think slowly.

    Just checked, and the answer is "not yet".  The good news is that Vanilla's an open-source community so it's bound to happen some time.  If you'd like to browse the available add-ons, you can go here:

    FYI, I prefer only adding "Approved" add-ons, but that doesn't mean I won't try an unverified plugin if it looks useful enough.
