You have the ability to add tags to your Discussions. Here are the tag guidelines:

1) New tags HAVE to be one word. If you want to make a tag for "Jimmy 'Mucho' Dinero's Awesome RPs", the tag should be "muchodinero" or something like that.

2) Also, please keep the tags relatively short, like 15-ish characters max. There's a sidebar that displays popular tags and I don't want my nice pretty site formatting to get all goatse'd by "jimmymuchodinerosawesomerps"

3) Character tags are OK, but please only character tag the posts in which you are posting IC or your character is actually the topic of the conversation.

4) If a tag already exists that fits what you're talking about, please don't create a new one, just use the existing one. A blue drop menu will appear and suggest tags while you're typing, please just take a second to look and make sure you're not creating a redundant tag.

5) Admin always reserves the right to remove inappropriate or redundant tagging.

There's a mobile-friendly version of the ELITE Forums. This version is usually activated automatically when you browse "elite.zmannzilla.com" with a mobile device.

The browsing on it is quick and clean, but it lacks the full functionality of the computer-based site. For example, once you enter a Category or Discussion, there's no quick link back to the full Categories menu. Until I figure out how to fix this, you can work around it by bookmarking "elite.zmannzilla.com" and using the bookmark to return to the main Category list.

The other issue I've encountered is that if you click "Full Site", you lose the ability to go back to the mobile version. This is a big problem because some, if not all, mobile devices can't use the comment box to create Discussions or comments. The feature is cookie-based, so all you need to do to go back to the mobile version is delete your cookies and reload the page.

If you experience any other issues with the mobile version, post them to this Discussion. Be sure to include the following info:

- The make and model of your mobile device
- The operating system being used
- The internet browser(s) you had the issue with

I can use this information to see if there's a work-around or fix for your issue. Also, save me some time and just try it in another browser, huh? You can't spell "default Android browser" without the "fault".

No, it won't have an effect on the way staff votes on matches. If you have questions about this feature, ask here. At this time, it does not work on the mobile version of the site.

For those of you who like to use BBCode, please be aware of the following:

This site recognizes BBCode, but only on the most basic level. If you're unsure about a specific code, make sure you're using the "Preview" feature before hitting "Post Discussion".

Also, according to Force, line breaks can kill the BBCode. In this example, I've tagged the whole limerick with BBCode:

I see you driving
Round town with the girl I love
And I'm like, haiku

If you're not seeing everything as bold and green, that's related to the issue with BBCode. For now, I'm not entirely certain that it affects every browser or situation, but if you are having that issue, let me know exactly how you put your text into the post and I'll see if there's a work-around.

Please report any other issues you experience with BBCode usage in this Discussion.
